REACH Testing Services
REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) began enforcement on June 1, 2007. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) required manufacturers and importers of 1 tonne or more of any chemical substance to begin pre-registration by June 1, 2008. REACH requires the registration, over a period of 11 years, of at least 30,000 chemical substances currently in use today. This process will fill information gaps on the hazards of substances and identify appropriate risk management measures to ensure safe use.
